Cardiac Sonographer

Join our team as a Registered Cardiovascular Sonographer, where you'll play a vital role in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular disorders.

What you'll be doing

• Perform echocardiograms, vascular ultrasound exams, and stress testing
• Conduct fetal echocardiograms in pediatric settings
• Utilize cognitive sonographic skills to capture diagnostic images
• Maintain departmental records and patient logs
• Ensure ultrasound equipment is properly maintained
• Notify providers of critical results per institutional policy
• Assist in training students and fellows in the lab

What we need to see

• Registered Cardiovascular Sonographer certification
• Ability to perform specialized diagnostic tests with at least 1 year of relevant experience

Ways to stand out from the crowd

• Experience performing transthoracic echocardiograms in pediatric and congenital cardiac patients
• Participation in department process improvement projects
• Ability to prepare preliminary interpretations and reports for cardiologist review
