RN - Endoscopy/Gastroenterology

Join our team as an RN in the Endoscopy/Gastroenterology unit, where you'll play a crucial role in patient care during procedures.

What you'll be doing

• Answer patient questions and address concerns
• Observe patient vital signs
• Sedate patients before procedures
• Recover patients after procedures
• Administer necessary medications
• Complete documentation including patient notes and discharge documents
• Prepare instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures
• Clean and sterilize equipment before use
• Assist doctors throughout procedures
• Administer IV drips

What we need to see

• Current New York RN license
• BLS certification (AHA only)
• ACLS certification (AHA only)
• At least 2 years of experience in endoscopy procedures
• Telemetry monitoring and rhythm identification experience
• Experience recovering patients from general anesthesia
• Expertise in IV insertion
