Surgical Tech - Cardiac

Join our dynamic team as a Surgical Technologist in the Adult Cardiac OR, where you'll play a crucial role in patient care during complex cardiac procedures.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare instruments, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures
• Assist the surgical team from the scrub position during operations
• Maintain sterile technique and safe handling of sharps
• Perform surgical counts as per hospital policy
• Facilitate room turnover between cases
• Handle solutions and pharmacologic agents under the direction of a registered nurse

What we need to see

• NBSTSA certification or 10 years of experience as a Surgical Technician
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Two years of recent experience in a cardiac operating room
