Endoscopy/Gastrointestinal Technician

Join our team as an Endoscopy/Gastrointestinal Technician and play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care and equipment integrity.

What you'll be doing

• Apply aseptic techniques to equipment preparation and maintenance
• Identify and address potential compromises to sterile integrity during procedures
• Disassemble and perform preventive maintenance on procedure supplies and equipment
• Conduct pre-cleaning, inspection, leak testing, and high-level disinfection of endoscopes
• Follow established protocols for reprocessing and storing endoscopes and accessories
• Determine High-Level Disinfection methods based on material and manufacturer's instructions
• Perform ambulatory technician duties, including obtaining vital signs and transporting patients

What we need to see

• Experience in aseptic techniques and equipment maintenance
• Completion of at least 1 travel assignment
• High-Level Disinfection certification is highly encouraged
