Ultrasound Tech - DH

Join our team as an Ultrasound Tech, where you'll play a vital role in patient care and diagnostic imaging.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare and position patients for examinations while ensuring proper documentation
• Assist physicians during procedures and produce high-quality technical images
• Perform equipment quality assurance, calibrations, and order supplies as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and report malfunctioning equipment
• Process images and manage routine office duties, including patient communication
• Educate patients and families about examinations and uphold professional standards
• Adapt to department needs, including on-call and emergency procedures

What we need to see

• Completion of a certified Ultrasound program or certificate
• ARDMS certification required upon hire
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role preferred
• High proficiency in operating computers and office productivity machinery
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients regarding financial inquiries
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
