Registered Nurse-PCU

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the PCU at James Cancer Hospital, where you'll provide critical care to surgical oncology patients.

What you'll be doing

• Provide nursing care for PCU and Med Surg patients
• Administer chemotherapy and blood transfusions
• Manage oncologic emergencies and insulin/heparin drips
• Implement infection prevention protocols
• Float within scope of practice as needed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team

What we need to see

• Active RN license in Ohio
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PCU setting
• Proficiency in EPIC computerized charting

Ways to stand out from the crowd

• Experience with chemotherapy administration
• Experience managing oncologic emergencies
• Experience with blood transfusions
• Knowledge of infection prevention protocols
