PET/CT Technologist

Join our team as a PET/CT Technologist, where you'll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services to patients.

What you'll be doing

• Review patient history and physician's orders
• Educate patients about procedures and equipment
• Position patients and perform imaging procedures
• Ensure proper imaging techniques for diverse patient needs
• Analyze imaging results and address quality issues
• Administer and manage radiopharmaceuticals according to protocols
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes
• Maintain inventory of supplies in Clinical Nuclear Medicine rooms

What we need to see

• CT certification and New York State license
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• At least 2 years of PET/CT experience
• ARRT certification in CT
• NNMTCB certification in CT
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with Nuclear Medicine certification

Ways to stand out from the crowd

• Knowledge of GE PET or Philips PET Scanners
