Medical Assistant

Join our team as a Medical Assistant and play a vital role in providing quality care at Pomona Valley Health Center.

What you'll be doing

• Assist family medicine provider with patient care
• Take vitals and room patients
• Administer injections and provide wound care
• Conduct physicals and well-child exams
• Set up for minor procedures
• Communicate with patients regarding results

What we need to see

• Certified Medical Assistant with active AHA BLS card
• 6 months to 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
• Experience as a receptionist
• Familiarity with Electronic EMR
• High school graduate or equivalent

Ways to stand out from the crowd

• Bilingual in Spanish
• Knowledge of vaccines and orthopedic care
