Pharmacy Tech - DH

Join our team as a Pharmacy Technician, where you'll play a vital role in supporting patient care and medication management.

What you'll be doing

• Support pharmacists by answering phones and processing medication demands
• Fill patient-specific medications and manage inventory
• Ensure compliance with USP Chapter 797 and 800 procedures in cleanroom/IV support
• Monitor and troubleshoot pharmacy technologies including Pyxis and EPIC systems
• Conduct medication history interviews in the Emergency Department
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to improve system efficiency
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and maintain regulatory compliance

What we need to see

• High School diploma or GED
• 1 year of acute care pharmacy technician experience
• Registered Pharmacy Technician with the New York State Board of Pharmacy
• Certified Pharmacy Technician or currently enrolled in an accredited college of pharmacy
• Familiarity with EPIC system
