Radiology / Cardiology-Radiation Therapist

Join our team as a Radiation Therapist, where you'll play a crucial role in delivering specialized radiation treatments to cancer patients.

What you'll be doing

• Perform routine and specialized radiation treatments according to physician-developed plans
• Operate and maintain complex radiation therapy equipment, documenting readings and requesting repairs as needed
• Complete routine and priority tasks within established departmental time frames
• Assist physicians in various radiation therapy and simulation procedures
• Educate patients about procedures to alleviate fear and anxiety
• Mentor students and new therapists to build their confidence and skills
• Perform general clerical tasks related to patient appointments and electronic health records
• Implement safety standards to minimize radiation exposure and maintain a clean working environment

What we need to see

• BLS, AART, and CRT certifications
• At least 1 year of experience as a Radiation Therapist

Ways to stand out from the crowd

• Experience with TrueBeam equipment
• Experience performing specialized radiation treatments
• Knowledge of safety standards implementation
