Registered Nurse-Operating Room

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, where you'll play a crucial role in patient care during surgical procedures.

What you'll be doing

• Serve as the primary RN in the operating room, providing patient care
• Assist the surgical tech, surgeon, and anesthesiologist during procedures
• Prepare the operating room for surgery and verify all critical elements
• Assist with intubation/extubation and during nerve blocks
• Ensure patient safety by following policies and procedures
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in Cerner
• Communicate professionally with team members and escalate issues as needed

What we need to see

• Minimum ADN degree
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• 1-2 years of experience in outpatient surgery settings
• Experience as a Registered Nurse Circulator in the operating room
• Knowledge of Cerner for charting
