Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - MS/Tele Facility: James Cancer Hospital and Research Location: Columbus, OH Employment Type: Travel/Contract Shift: Night (3x12 Hours) 19:00 7:30 Start Date: 9/8/2026 Job Duration: 16 weeks Compensation: Rate Type: Hourly Over Time: 40 total hours in 1 week: 1% Double Time: None On-Call: 9$ Call Back: 1.3% Holiday Pay: 1.3% Additional Information: 1st Timer / Palliative Care 11th FL- D/N or N - AO Palliative care focuses on providing relief from the side effects of serious illness. This unit will be providing symptom management for patients still under treatment – uncontrolled pain, severe nausea/vomiting, failure to thrive, fatigue, etc. for a better quality of life. The ideal candidates are med surg nurse that want to enhance their palliative care skills while also seeing other high acuity med surg units via floating. Certifications required: • BLS Requirements • Minimum 2 Years of acute care RN experience required • Certs: BLS • Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity. • PREVIOUS TRAVEL EXPERIENCE PREFERRED! • EPIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!! *If you accept a 12D/N rotating contract, you may be scheduled for days, nights, or a combination of both, depending on the department’s needs. Shift assignments are reviewed every 4-week scheduling period, but changes are not guaranteed and are based on staffing priorities at that time.
