Senior MRI Tech - DH

Join our team as a Senior MRI Tech, where you'll lead operations and ensure the highest standards of patient care in our MRI department.

What you'll be doing

• Manage daily operations and supply management for the MRI department
• Oversee workflows and schedules of MRI personnel
• Provide training and onboarding for new and existing staff
• Identify and implement revenue cycle best practices
• Collaborate with other hospital service areas for optimal patient care
• Monitor and perform equipment QA/QC as per regulatory standards
• Perform MRI procedures, including patient instruction and equipment calibration
• Manage timekeeping and PTO requests for MRI staff

What we need to see

• NYS License
• ARRT certification upon hire
• ARRT-MR certification upon hire
• Registered Radiologic Technologist certification from New York State Department of Health
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an MRI Tech or Lead Tech
• Deep understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and physiology
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
