Respiratory Therapist - DH

Join our team as a Respiratory Therapist, where you'll provide essential respiratory care to patients in a dynamic healthcare environment.

What you'll be doing

• Initiate and monitor mechanical ventilation, both invasive and non-invasive
• Conduct various types of breathing therapy and patient assessments
• Perform postural drainage, percussion, and bronchial hygiene techniques
• Carry out blood gas puncture and analysis, including equipment maintenance
• Respond to cardiac arrest and Rapid Response situations, performing CPR
• Demonstrate competency in emergency endotracheal intubation of adult patients

What we need to see

• Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy from an AMA approved program
• Valid New York State Board of Respiratory Therapy license
• NBRC-Registered Respiratory Therapist certification
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
