Clinical Laboratory Scientist - DH

Join our team as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of laboratory testing.

What you'll be doing

• Adhere to laboratory performance standards, policies, and procedures
• Maintain records of pre-analytic and analytic procedures
• Document quality control activities and corrective actions for test performance issues
• Evaluate test results for abnormalities and confirm results per protocols
• Participate in training, competency assessments, and regulatory readiness
• Manage inventory of lot numbers, expiration dates, and quality control requirements
• Notify clinicians of critical values and maintain STAT turnaround time

What we need to see

• New York State Clinical Lab Technologist license or ASCP certification
• At least 1 year of experience in a clinical laboratory setting
• AP/Histology experience
• NYS Histotechnologist License for Anatomic Pathology section
