Endoscopy/Gastrointestinal Technician

Join our team as an Endoscopy/Gastrointestinal Technician, where you'll play a crucial role in maintaining sterile environments and supporting medical procedures.

What you'll be doing

• Apply aseptic techniques to equipment preparation and maintenance
• Identify and address potential compromises to sterile integrity during procedures
• Disassemble and perform preventive maintenance on equipment and supplies
• Conduct pre-cleaning, inspection, and high-level disinfection of endoscopes
• Follow established protocols for reprocessing and storing endoscopic equipment
• Determine High-Level Disinfection methods based on manufacturer instructions
• Perform ambulatory technician duties, including obtaining vital signs and patient transport

What we need to see

• At least 1 year of experience as a GI/Endo Technician
• Strong understanding of maintaining sterile integrity and equipment maintenance
• Experience with travel assignments in a healthcare setting

Ways to stand out from the crowd

• High-Level Disinfection (HLD) certification
• Experience with reprocessing endoscopes
• Completion of at least 1 travel assignment
