Surgical Services-GI/Endo Tech

Join our team as a Senior Endoscopy Technician and make a difference in patient care at our outpatient Endoscopy Center.

What you'll be doing

• Perform upper endoscopies, colonoscopies, polypectomy, biopsy, peg placement, banding, balloon dilation, and Bravo procedures
• Ensure high-level disinfection of procedural equipment
• Collaborate effectively with physicians and nursing staff
• Manage daily procedures with a patient population of ASA 1, 2, & 3
• Set up back tables and rooms for procedures

What we need to see

• Certified Surgical Tech (CST) or completion of SGNA education for GI/Endoscopy
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an endoscopy center or GI Lab
• Strong scope reprocessing skills
• Experience with colonoscopes, EGD scopes, EBUS, EUS, enteroscopes, ERCP scopes, fiber optics, and flex sigmoidoscopes
• Experience with Epic EMR

Ways to stand out from the crowd

• Experience with Olympus processor CV-190, Olympus Light Source CLV -190, and Olympus scopes 190s
• Experience with back table set up and room set
