Anatomic Pathology Operations Manager - DH

Join our team as an Anatomic Pathology Operations Manager, where you will lead and enhance the quality of our clinical services.

What you'll be doing

• Ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
• Oversee employee competency and education requirements
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives
• Direct and supervise laboratory staff and operations
• Maintain effective communication within the department
• Develop departmental goals, objectives, and budgets
• Monitor turnaround times for assays
• Assist with quality control programs and reporting

What we need to see

• BS Degree in Clinical Technology or related science
• Current NYS License as Clinical Laboratory Technologist, Cytotechnologist, Histotechnologist, or Pathologists' Assistant
• At least four years of relevant hospital experience
• Supervisory experience in anatomic pathology or histology
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
