Assistant Supervisor - DH

Join our team as an Assistant Supervisor, where you'll lead and enhance laboratory services while ensuring compliance with hospital standards.

What you'll be doing

• Ensure quality departmental services in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
• Supervise and train laboratory staff on specialized tests and procedures
• Oversee the Quality Control Program and prepare monthly QC reports
• Monitor test system performance and initiate corrective actions as needed
• Maintain effective communication within and outside the laboratory department
• Develop departmental goals and objectives in collaboration with leadership
• Participate in educational programs to maintain expertise in laboratory management

What we need to see

• BS degree in Clinical Technology or related science
• Licensed Clinical Laboratory Technologist in New York State
• At least 4 years of relevant hospital experience
• Strong leadership and problem-solving capabilities
• High proficiency in customer service and effective communication
