Join our team as a Mobile Phlebotomist, where you'll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care through efficient specimen collection and transport.

What you'll be doing

• Obtain blood specimens using varied techniques on all age groups
• Transport specimens from field locations to the hospital in a timely manner
• Validate and verify specimen identifiers and requisitions
• Enter ordered tests into the hospital information system for processing
• Label and disseminate specimens to the appropriate laboratory departments
• Respond to outreach telephone calls and resolve inquiries efficiently
• Document outreach issues for follow-up and ensure seamless communication
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols

What we need to see

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy experience
• Valid, clean driver's license
• Proficiency in using Epic Beaker

Ways to stand out from the crowd

• Previous healthcare experience
• Certified Phlebotomy Technician certification from ASPT
• CPT certification from the National Healthcareer Association
• Phlebotomy certification from the National Center for Competency Testing
