CT Tech - DH

Join our team as a CT Tech, where you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality imaging services to our patients.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare and position patients for examinations while ensuring proper documentation
• Produce high-quality technical images and review completed exams for accuracy
• Assist physicians during procedures as needed
• Perform equipment quality assurance and calibrations
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and report malfunctioning equipment
• Process images and manage routine office duties in EPIC and PACs
• Work on call and cover various shifts to ensure department needs are met
• Uphold professional standards and treat all individuals with courtesy

What we need to see

• ARRT registered with radiograph (R) or (CT) certification
• New York State Department of Health Radiology License or Limited Permit upon hire
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire
• Passing advanced CT examination/certification (ARRT) within 1 year from hire
• At least 2 years of experience in a related role
• Experience operating CT equipment and knowledge of radiation physics and protection
• Familiarity with Epic for patient documentation
