MRI Technologist - Pediatric

Join our team as a Pediatric MRI Technologist, where you'll play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to young patients during their MRI procedures.

What you'll be doing

• Operate the MRI machine efficiently and safely
• Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to ensure comfort
• Coordinate with physicians to provide timely diagnostic imaging
• Document all procedures while maintaining patient confidentiality
• Adhere to MRI safety policies and guidelines
• Adjust scanning parameters for various patient ages
• Identify contraindications for safe scanning
• Determine when a scan must be stopped due to motion

What we need to see

• Associate degree in magnetic resonance imaging or radiology
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• ARRT certification
• NYS Rad Tech License (must obtain prior to start)
• Siemens scanner experience
• At least 2 years of MRI technologist experience
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience
• 6 months of pediatric experience
