Surgical Services-Sterile Processing Tech (SPT)

Join our team as a Surgical Services - Sterile Processing Tech and play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of surgical equipment and instrument readiness.

What you'll be doing

• Perform decontamination of surgical items including drills, Davinci, and scopes
• Execute sterilization processes using sterrad and steam methods
• Manage high-level disinfection and scope handling
• Oversee sterile storage and organization of surgical instruments
• Act as a liaison between the operating room and sterile processing department
• Utilize Censitrac tracking system for instrument management
• Prepare case carts and separate dirty instruments for upcoming surgeries
• Respond to operating room calls for both floors of surgery

What we need to see

• Certification as either CBSPD or CRCST through HSPA
• At least 1 year of experience in surgical services or sterile processing

Ways to stand out from the crowd

• Experience in decontamination of all surgical items
• Familiarity with sterilization processes using sterrad and steam
• Knowledge of high-level disinfection and scope handling
• Experience as an OR liaison
• Proficiency in using Censitrac tracking system
